The Starkstromelektronik AG, today’s Lightmanagement AG, was founded on October 25, 1966 in Wettingen, Switzerland. Initially it concentrated on the development of high-performance varintens ® -dimmers. With the development of fluorescent lamps, the company started to develop the suitable dimming technology. Due to decreasing dimming power per channel and an increasing number of dimming circuits, the management of many luminaries with conventional operating concepts became more complicated. The solution for this challenge was the modular light management system adaptolux,® a time optimized system that allows the implementation from the simplest to the most complex applications.
